ACM Blueprint Sign-Off — China Team's 5 Questions

For the 2026-07-10 ACM Blueprint Go-Through meeting with Anshuman and the ACM team.

🔴 Must-Ask

1. Margin Call — Development Scope

"The 6 Gaps (112/230/786/788/809/819) are in the blueprint. We understand these cover the full logic — auto calculation, trigger, re-calculation. For the result display — fields like drop %, collected %, pending %, and any related reports — those will be covered in the FS/detailed design phase, correct? We just want to make sure the reporting/output side is not forgotten."

Why this matters: If not clarified now, the implementation team may say "the logic is done, the UI/report is a separate requirement."

2. TMS Contradiction in Blueprint

"Delivery Planning section says China needs TMS interface. But our Dec 4, 2025 decision confirmed: China Agri goes ACM + Weighbridge, no TMS, freight costs via ACM Expense. Will you update the blueprint text, or shall we note this in the sign-off comments?"

Supporting facts: - 2025-12-04: Tom Wang confirmed no TMS, ACM+WB only - 2026-01-07: Anshuman confirmed Option A (ACM Nomination custom fields) and Option B (WB system manages internally), deferred to detailed design - Blueprint V1.10 still states "China needs TMS interface"

3. DCE Price Interface

"Currently Trade Control manually enters DCE closing prices daily (~1hr/day). We propose auto interface + manual fallback. Is the interface build in ACM project scope, or China's own budget?"

Note: DCE prices are publicly available, no subscription fee. The cost is only the integration development.

4. Weighbridge — It's a Logistics Hub, Not Just a Scale

"China's weighbridge system is not just for weighing. It's a unified logistics platform handling: - WeChat trucker notification - Queuing system - IC card access control (5 checkpoints: enter → empty weigh → loading → full weigh → exit) - Vehicle/driver info management

Both Trading (ACM) and Non-Trading (SD/MM) use it. Even for external warehouse deliveries that don't go through the scale, the WB system still handles notifications and trucker info.

The blueprint only covers weight integration. How do we handle the full scope? Is the WB system modification in ACM project scope or China local project?"

Two options (per Jan 7 email): - Option A: ACM Nomination sends custom fields (truck/driver) to WB - Option B: All logistics details managed within WB system (internal SOP changes)

5. ACM-FSCM Credit Integration — Full Logic Not Seen

"We've seen the deposit calculation mechanics and FD33 config (SGL A includes CL, SGL 7 excludes). But we haven't seen: - Does Nomination creation trigger credit check? - How does Margin Call update credit limit? - Multi-contract shared credit limit — real-time calculation rules? - How does LumpSum payment get split across multiple contracts for CL update?

Can we get a design note, or confirm this is covered in detailed design?"

🟡 If Time Permits

6. Custom Margin Call Logic

"We have 3 offline manual margin modes (basis drop, wash loss, pre-sale price rise). Going forward, if business creates a 4th type, can ACM be configured to handle it, or does it require development every time?"

7. Futures Physical Delivery — Custodial Inventory Tracking

"After DCE/ZCE futures physical delivery, title transfers to the customer but they may pick up goods months later. In ECC, we track this custodial inventory using a zero-value 8-series material* (GR → SO → PGI when customer collects), and the pickup goes through the full weighbridge process.

The blueprint says 'follow standard ACM process' for this scenario. But this custody tracking is currently an SD/MM workaround. Is this within ACM scope, or does it stay in SD/MM? If ACM, what's the equivalent tracking mechanism?"*

✍️ Sign-Off Comments (add to the sign-off sheet)

"China Agri requires the following to be addressed in detailed design phase, not excluded by this blueprint sign-off: 1. Margin Management 6 Gaps — full logic and result display; 2. ACM-TMS discrepancy — resolved per Dec 4, 2025 decision; 3. DCE price interface — solution and cost responsibility; 4. Weighbridge logistics hub integration — scope and cost responsibility; 5. ACM-FSCM credit integration logic — full documentation."
